I am glad Lewis has been saved. I think Lewis sounds a little like Ginger. They said he would rub against your leg and act really friendly until you tried to pet him . . . In Lewis' case I think the judge has the Wisdom of Solomon for ordering that in no circumstance is Lewis to get outdoors. Sounds like Lewis is a one-person only cat. He will guard and protect the house of his owner (indoors).

Lewis IS saved! - Saw it the other night on the news. His punishment is that he must now be an indoors-only kitty.
